Most people in fitness will tell you that you have to choose:
Run… or lift heavy.
I didn’t buy that — so I stepped onto the powerlifting platform while still training as a hybrid athlete.
I just posted a new YouTube video breaking down my first two powerlifting meets, what actually happened on meet day, and what I learned trying to balance strength and endurance at the same time.
